What to do?

What’s the best thing to do when it’s close to 100 degrees outside and the little girls do a great job at gymnastics?  Well you take them out for ice cream of course.

photo eBrandy and I took Taylor & Maisie out one day two weeks ago for ice cream and they wanted to do it again.  Had we been smart though we would have found an air conditioned place to take them as sitting outside was brutal!  Needless to say it was a quick treat and everyone was happy to get into air conditioned cars and head home.  We learned our lesson and next time we take them out we’ll be sure to find a place with indoor seating.

Baked egg cups Yet another new recipe over on Cook Lisa Cook.  These are Baked Egg Cups two ways, one way for bacon lovers and the other for scrambled egg & cheese lovers.  I served these one night for dinner as I needed something fast after spending a long afternoon at the pool.  These went together in minutes and baked while I showered.  We ate them for dinner and then enjoyed the leftovers for breakfast the next morning.  They reheat beautifully so make a big batch and enjoy them for a few meals.

Other recent recipes posted on Cook Lisa Cook: Mango Lassi, Stir-Fried Asparagus with Water Chestnuts, Ginger & Cashews, Curried Roast Chicken Pieces with Spicy Sweet Potato & Carrots, Grilled Corn & Bacon Pudding, Oriental Chicken Salad, Potato Salad with Bacon, Coffee Crusted Steak, Home Style Chicken Curry, Watermelon FrostyMango Gazpacho, Toll House Double Stuff Oreo Brownies, Long Beans with Walnuts, Blacksmith Pizza, Rhubarb Crisp, Laksa, Math Book No Bake Cookies, Aloo Gobi, Mint Lassi, Red Curry Chicken, Lamb Curry and Grilled Corn, Avocado & Tomato Salad with Honey Lime Dressing.

Enjoy!
