Five years ago ~ instant love

Maisie (1) Wow, I can’t believe that it was five years ago today when we first laid eyes on our adorable sweet little cue ball cutie Wan Chun Miao.  I still get teary looking at this first picture of my sweet girl and remembering that very long referral day.  Those cute little chubby cheeks and her haunting eyes, I just wanted to immediately jump on a plane so I could scoop her up in my arms and kiss and love on that face.  That sweet pensive face of five years ago is still oh-so sweet but thankfully the sadness is long, long gone.

Since today is the anniversary of Maisie’s referral I thought it appropriate to feature one of her favorite foods, Popovers.  Over the course of a day Maisie can easily polish off six Popovers so I have to double the recipe so that Eammon and I can have some too.  Click on the picture to be taken to the recipe.
